“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.” – Aaron Siskind
I am a lover of mood, color, shape…equally content finding beauty in the serenity of nature, the energy of the urban landscape, the joy, laughter and history in a face, or documenting a precious moment in time.
Beauty surrounds us each and every day in the ordinary bits of life and living, and I invite you to appreciate and preserve the ordinary.
For me….it all started with a tiny Kodak Instamatic when I was 9…
that, and my dad’s interest in photography and his influence, as well as the old black and whites of my grandparents and parents mounted with photo corners in black-paged albums…
Photography freezes time, records history, preserves memories long after cobwebs settle in our minds. It is history, our history, and a treasure we leave the generations to come.
I would love the opportunity to tell your story, preserve your moments, create your memories… ~ yolanda
